Crafty: Little Sweetopia Fairy – Polymer Clay Sculpture

Hi there and a great Monday to everyone!
Hope your weekend was full of sun, joy, yummy treats, great time with friends and family…bascially that is everything a good weekend needs right?

I wanted to share something with you, something crafty.
I am sure you all know gorgeous (and if you don’t please pay her a visit) Marian @ Sweetopia.net.
The first time I have visited her website, loaded with the sweetest, artistic cookie and cupcakes decorations and then saw this little cute fairy in the top banner it hit me, I fell in love with it.
It just looks so darn cute!

So a while ago, when my mom and I did some polyer clay work, I wanted to at least try to make this little Sweetopia fairy sculpture.
It worked out, even though it is definitely not a 100% look-alike but I just had to ship it over to Marian, which took ages by the way!
From Germany to Canada it usually takes around 1-2 weeks but this time, it was around 6 weeks or even longer. I thought this lil fairy got lost somewhere on this planet :-)
But luckily, it arrived!

Enjoy your week :-)
